Restaurant Review: Lady Chocolatt

After the tea party, we decided that we hadn't had enough sugar yet, and since we had a few hours before dinner, we stopped at Lady Chocolatt Cafe in Santa Monica. This used to be one of my favorite brunch/breakfast places during college, and A had been dying to come here since she saw a Instagram post I had put up. Lady Chocolatt's specialty is Belgian Style Waffles topped with powdered sugar and ice cream. We ordered two plates, one with Cookies N' Cream and the other with Triple Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream.

We ventured out into the patio area while we waited for our waffles, and sat in their adorable little garden-style sitting area outside. Since we were so close to the beach, the temperature was perfect and the environment relaxing.

Our waffles arrived after a few minutes of chit-chatting, and we dug in as soon as they touched the table. The waffles were crispy and buttery and wonderful and combined with the ice cream, tasted heavenly.

The Cookies N' Cream was definitely my favorite

Within 5 minutes, we had completely demolished both plates. They were both SO yummy!

Lady Chocolatt is such a lovely little cafe. Definitely a place to check out if you're ever in the area and craving waffles!
